Torsion Spring

TORSION SPRINGS – Torsion springs offers resistance to twist or rotationally applied force. When forces are applied to torsion springs, inside diameters decrease and body lengths increase. Designers should take this into account when design space is limited. Common examples of torsion springs are the springs in clothespins.
